Lavinia Ghimbășan is a crafter and conceptual designer with a focus on storytelling and regenerative practices in the fields of experience, lighting, floral and object design. For the past 10 years she has worked and studied between Denmark and Romania, striving to use design as a tool for dialog about existing societal issues, beyond function and aesthetic. Currently she is the co-designer and co-founder of Nalba, an innovation project, slow designing regional objects rooted in the eco-system of Transylvania. In her practice she strives to be resourceful and ultimately design with care.
