KSA (Kreativ Studio Architects) is an architecture office based in Iasi, consisting of a young team of architects, with national and international experience, whose aim is to have an unique approach in every project. For KSA, kreativity is the essential element that sustains the birth of new concepts and ideas, and wants to generate project with a positive impact on the environment.
KSA studio was founded in 2019 by the two architects Simona Cercel and Ionut Diaconu, and today the teams is completed by Florin Olariu – intern architect and Cristina Chioncu – architecture student. The architects are passionate about promoting the cultural heritage, visual arts, cultural projects and developing a lasting environment.
Simona Cercel graduated with a BA and a MA from „G.M.Cantacuzino” Faculty of Architecture from Iasi. She was an intern architect at 3XN Studio, lead by Prof. architect Cesare Sposito, in Palermo / Italy, allso she was an intern architect at Swisspoint Group and at Sidea Project Group. Over the time, the architect has been involved in various cultural projects, social-educational projects and workshops: INTEGRAT 1.0, GENIALLIS, Iasi – The City of Painted Trams, IAȘI NE(MAI)VĂZUT, De-a Arhitectura, KreativKids. Competitions: Casa Cuib, Bienala de Arhitectura – sectiunea 5, YAC – University Island, Italy, YAC – Lighthouse Sea Hotel, Italy. Simona Cercel is the president of the Commission of Censors within the Order of Romanian Architects, Iași branch.
Ionuț Diaconu graduated with a BA and a MA from „G.M.Cantacuzino” Faculty of Architecture from Iasi. He was an intern architect at 3XN Studio, lead by Prof. architect Cesare Sposito, in Palermo / Italy. He was an intern architect at Swisspoint Group and at Sidea Project Group. Ionut Diaconu is a Certified Member Specialised in Passive Buildings, honour received at Passive House Institute in Darmstadt. Competitions: Casa Cuib, Bienala de Arhitectura – sectiunea 5, YAC – University Island, Italy, YAC – Lighthouse Sea Hotel, Italy.
Florin Olaru graduated with a BA and MA from G.M.Cantacuzino” Faculty of Architecture and he represented Romania at the International Saint-Gobain Architecture Student Contest 2021.
Cristina Chioncu is presently studying architecture at G.M.Cantacuzino” Faculty of Architecture.
